Founded by Sonja of UpTown Junk (Poole) and Nathan of Asuek Artwork, SplatLab was born from a shared passion for helping people gain confidence in their creativity. We kept hearing the same worries — “I’m not very creative” and “What if it goes wrong?” — and knew there had to be a space where those fears didn’t exist. So we created SplatLab: a bold, no-boundaries environment where you can experiment freely, embrace the mess, and discover how fun art can be when you let go of judgement and inhibition. SplatLab has the feel-good factor where you’re not just allowed to paint on the walls — you’re encouraged to! All you need to do is show up, relax, and give it a go. Creativity will follow.

Suitable for both children and adults, each session is kept intentionally small, with space for up to seven people, ensuring a relaxed, supportive atmosphere where everyone can feel comfortable letting go and giving creativity a try.
