These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern the use of the SplatLab website and the booking and participation in SplatLab immersive paint experiences.
By accessing our website, making a booking, purchasing a voucher, or attending a SplatLab session, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. About SplatLab
SplatLab operates immersive paint experience sessions across the UK through a franchise model.
Depending on the location selected, your booking may be fulfilled by SplatLab (the franchisor) or by an independently owned SplatLab franchisee. References to "we", "us" or "our" include both the franchisor and relevant franchise operators where applicable.
2. Bookings
2.1 Making a Booking
All bookings must be made in advance via our website or approved booking platforms.
Bookings are subject to availability.
A booking is only confirmed once payment has been received and confirmation issued.
2.2 Group Bookings
The person making the booking is responsible for ensuring all participants comply with these Terms.
If booking on behalf of others, you must forward all joining instructions and important information to your group.
2.3 Private sessions, Parties & Group bookings
Where booking is two months in advance, then a non-refundable deposit of £149.75 is required to secure your booking.
Any remaining balance must be paid 2 weeks prior to the event.
3. Payments
All prices are displayed in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable.
Payment must be made in full at the time of booking
We use secure third-party payment providers and do not store card details
4. Cancellations, Rescheduling & Refunds
At SplatLab, we understand that plans can change. Please read the following refund and cancellation policy carefully before booking.
4.1. general Session Bookings
All session bookings are non-refundable once confirmed.
However, we are happy to offer one reschedule under the following conditions:
Reschedule changes must be made at least two weeks before your scheduled session.
Requests made within this time may be transferred to an alternative date (subject to availability).
Rescheduled sessions must take place within one calendar month of the original booking date, subject to availability.
No-shows are not eligible for a transfer.
4.2. Private Bookings, Parties & Group Sessions
For private sessions, parties, and group bookings:
Cancellations are non-refundable.
Deposits are non-refundable
One reschedule will be offered as per 4.1 General Session Bookings and will incur a reschedule handling fee of £20.
4.1 Customer Cancellations
Bookings are non-refundable.
Requests to reschedule must be made in accordance with the cancellation policy provided at the time of booking.
4.2 SplatLab Cancellations
In the unlikely event, SplatLab reserves the right to cancel or reschedule sessions due to unforeseen circumstances, including staff illness, safety concerns, or events beyond our control.
Where we cancel a session, you will be offered a reschedule or refund.
4.3. Exceptional Circumstances
We understand that genuine emergencies can happen. Any exceptional circumstances will be considered on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of management.
4.4. How to Request a Cancellation or Change
All cancellation or rescheduling requests must be made in writing via email: splatlab.uk@gmail.com.
5. Merchandise, Goods & Returns
SplatLab also sells physical goods such as merchandise, art kits, or branded products (“Goods”), either online or in-studio.
5.1 Purchases & Returns
Goods must be returned unused, in their original packaging, and in a resaleable condition.
Returns must be requested within 14 days of receipt, in line with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
Proof of purchase is required for all returns.
5.2 Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned unless faulty:
Personalised or custom-made items
Used products
Gift vouchers or digital products
5.3 Faulty or Damaged Goods
If Goods are faulty or damaged on receipt, please contact us as soon as possible. We will offer a repair, replacement, or refund in accordance with your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
5.4 Return Costs
Customers are responsible for return postage costs unless the Goods are faulty or incorrect.
We recommend using a tracked delivery service. SplatLab cannot be held responsible for items lost in transit.
6. Vouchers & Gift Cards
Gift vouchers are non-refundable, non-transferable and non-exchangeable for cash.
Vouchers are valid for the stated period and must be used before the expiry date.
Expired vouchers cannot be extended or refunded.
Lost or stolen vouchers cannot be replaced.
7. Arrival & Session Timings
Participants of must arrive 15 minutes before their stated booking time.
Late arrivals may result in a shortened session or refusal of entry without refund.
Sessions include set-up, experience time, and de-kit as outlined in joining instructions.
8. Health, Safety & Conduct
8.1 Participation
Participation is at your own risk.
You must follow all instructions given by SplatLab staff at all times.
Failure to comply may result in removal from the session without refund.
8.2 What We Don’t Allow
For safety, legal, and experience-quality reasons, the following are not permitted:
Alcohol or drugs (including being under the influence)
Aggressive, abusive, or unsafe behaviour
Throwing paint at other participants or staff without consent
Deliberate damage to property or equipment
Unapproved substances, tools, or materials
These rules are in place to protect participants, staff, and the integrity of the experience.
9. Clothing & Personal Belongings
Protective clothing is provided; however, paint transfer may still occur.
SplatLab accepts no responsibility for damage to clothing, footwear, or personal items.
Personal belongings should be stored as instructed by staff, at the responsibility of the owner.
SplatLab accepts no responsibility for personal belongings.
10. Children & Family Sessions
Children must be supervised by a participating adult unless otherwise stated.
Age limits apply to certain sessions as follows:
Over 5yrs - general sessions
Over 3 yrs - private session
Parents/guardians are responsible for the conduct and safety of children in their care.
11. Photography & Marketing
Photography or video may be taken during sessions for marketing purposes.
If you do not wish to be included, please notify staff before the session begins.
You may take photos or videos during the session provided they are limited to your group only. If other participants may appear in your images or recordings, you must obtain their permission beforehand.
SplatLab accepts no responsibility for any loss of or damage to cameras, phones, or other personal equipment brought into the Lab.
12. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SplatLab excludes liability for loss or damage to personal property.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.
Under no circumstances will SplatLab be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or other damages resulting from the purchase or use, of any service purchased from this website beyond the value of the item purchased, including but not limited to loss of profits or interruption to business.
13. Data Protection & Privacy
Your personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
14. Franchise Model
Each SplatLab location may be owned and operated by an independent franchisee.
Franchisees are responsible for the day-to-day operation of their studio in accordance with SplatLab standards.
Legal responsibility for your booking rests with the operating entity for the location attended.
15. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. The latest version will always be available on our website.
16. jurisdiction & Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
17. Acceptable use
You must not use, or attempt to use, this website:
In breach of any applicable laws or regulations of the United Kingdom or of your local jurisdiction;
To impersonate any person or entity, or falsely represent your affiliation with any person or organisation;
To solicit money, passwords, personal information, or other property from any individual or entity;
To harm, abuse, harass, threaten, stalk, intimidate, or otherwise offend any person or organisation;
To publish, upload, or facilitate the publication of personal information relating to a third party without their express consent;
To publish, upload, or facilitate the publication of any material for which you do not hold the necessary rights, ownership, or permissions;
To publish, upload, or distribute pornographic, obscene, defamatory, or otherwise offensive material;
To introduce or facilitate the distribution of viruses, malware, or any other code, files, or programs designed to disrupt, damage, or interfere with software, hardware, or network functionality;
To publish or distribute advertising, promotional material, or unsolicited communications on behalf of yourself or any third party without our prior written consent.
Any breach of these rules of conduct may result in the immediate suspension or termination of your access to this website without prior notice, and may also give rise to legal action where appropriate.
18. Copywright
Except as expressly provided otherwise in these Terms, you do not acquire any right, title, or interest in or to any intellectual property rights relating to the SplatLab.co.uk website.
This website may contain material protected by copyright, trade marks, and other intellectual property laws. Unless expressly stated otherwise, you may only access, view, reproduce, and distribute content from this website for your own personal, non-commercial use.
No material published on, or sourced from, this website may be copied, stored, reproduced, republished, uploaded, posted, transmitted, distributed, altered, or otherwise used in any form or by any means, in whole or in part, without our prior written consent, except in the following circumstances:
Where such use constitutes “fair dealing” under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 (or any equivalent applicable legislation);
Where such use occurs automatically through the normal technical operation of your computer or web browser (including temporary caching).
Unauthorised use of this website’s content may result in legal action.
19. Limitation of Liability
Your use of this website is at your own risk.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, this website and all information, content, materials, products, and services included on or otherwise made available to you through this website are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, unless expressly stated otherwise.
We make no representations, warranties, or guarantees, whether express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, reliability, suitability, or availability of the website or the information contained on it.

Subject to the above, we shall not be liable for any loss or damage of any kind (including, without limitation, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages) arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, this website or any content, materials, products, or services available through it.
Where goods or services are supplied via this website, our total liability to you in respect of any claim shall be limited to the amount paid by you for the relevant goods or services (excluding delivery or handling charges).
